Project NuREEsource is a proposed Demonstration Scale Rare Earth Metal (REM) and Critical Minerals (CM) Facility (1-3 T MREO/MRES per day) for coal-based resources to be located in Clearfield County, PA. The facility will process clay wastes associated with the mining of coal that is sourced from Pennsylvanian Mine Sites. The project is currently in FEL-3 stage of development, funded by a $5.3M grant from the U.S. Department of Energy and $1.3M in cost share from local mining operators and project partners.
